Intellectual Fellowship Retreat 2025
On Saturday, April 26, student fellows are invited to join us on a trip to Salem, MA, a historic New England town and site of the Salem Witch Trials. We will explore the town, discuss topical American literature, enjoy lunch together, and visit the Peabody-Essex Museum.
Students are welcome to bring a “plus one,” a student who you think would benefit from getting more involved with AAI.
Expect to leave around 10 am and arrive back in Cambridge before 5 pm. Transportation, lunch, and museum tickets provided free of charge. To prepare for the retreat, please read Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “Young Goodman Brown”, a classic American short story set in Salem Village. Click below to access the reading.
