The Program on Human Dignity serves as the hub for his work with nonprofits and faith communities led by Dr. Arthur C. Brooks outside of the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School. Through these projects, Brooks seeks to help people lead happier, more meaningful lives while promoting the moral truths of dignity and potential for all.

LEADERSHIP AND HAPPINESS

In spring 2020, Brooks piloted a popular new course at the Harvard Business School on “Leadership and Happiness.” Drawing from management theory, social science, and the wisdom literatures, this course helped students map their own happiness, desires, and motivations, understand the tactics and strategies to raise their levels of well-being and life satisfaction, and learn how to lead others in a way that increases happiness across an organization. Brooks continues to explore new ways to adapt this leadership and happiness material for a wider audience.
