John Adams:
A Founder's Legacy on Screen and Page

Miniseries Viewing and Discussion

Join us at AAI this Spring as we continue to explore the life of John Adams.

Celebrating the semiquincentennial (250th) anniversary of the American founding, AAI invites students to join us for a monthly viewing of the HBO miniseries John Adams. In tandem, students are encouraged to read David McCullough’s masterful biography of the same name, from which the series was adapted. Exploring both his politics and his family life, we will witness Adams’ deep commitment to liberty, his sense of duty, his courage as Founder and president, and his respect and love for his wife Abigail.

We will meet monthly on Fridays at 5 pm at the Abigail Adams Institute at 14 Arrow St, Ste G10 in Cambridge. Participants are welcome to join at any time..

Dinner will be provided. A copy of David McCullough’s John Adams will be provided to participants.
